I'm getting in to a habit of pulling out old books from my bookshelf that I haven't read in a while, it makes me remember the times when I read the books. but that's not why i'm writing this.
I pulled out My Louisiana Sky by: Kimberly Willis Holt (my favorite author of all time) I love the character Tiger because she always seems to know what she wants to do, and she wants to be somebody. She wants to get out of her small town in Louisiana and move to Baton Rouge. That kind of reminds me of how as soon as I can I plan to move to New York, I love Texas but it's not for me. On my vacation to NYC this summer I fell in love. That's where I see myself and I can't help but think of Tiger Ann Parker from My Louisiana Sky following her dreams and living with her aunt in a big city.
